We recently needed to engage with someone who could educate two new ophthalmic technician trainees and do it quickly. We needed two new techs to step into the clinic and had to give them a good jump start with some intensive training.  We contacted and engaged with the services of Jane Shuman at Eyetechs in Ashland, MA. She spent two days training these two individuals and gave them the training they needed. On the third and fourth day we had two COAs shadow these recruits and let them go solo on the fifth day.
