INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES:

At the conclusion of this class the attendee will be able to:

• Identify consensual and direct pupillary reactions
• Explain the physiology behind an Afferent Pupillary Defect
• Describe the lighting setting necessary to check papillary function
• Use the Penlight to assess angles
• Check direct and consensual reactions
